    1. Did you like this film? Why/why not?
    Yes,because it is really moving.
    2. Chris wants a better life for him and his son. What do you think he sees as happiness for his son? Do you think he makes the right decisions to achieve this?
    For him, happiness for his son is stability, like a home and a family and everything. Yes he does because he risks with the broker job and always tries to make the situation better to his son.

    Do you think this is what Chris Gardner sees as happiness?
    Yes because when you feel safe and secure, you're usually happy because you feel better and harmless. Yes and not because he's always looking for his safety and his security but if his son didn't have safety and security too, he wouldn't be happy at all.

    Yes because everybody deserves to be happy, apart for what they do or their
    situation.

    Not always, but if you try it you have more posibilities to get it. Anyways, maybe you don't get exactly what you wanted but you get something that is good too.

    Stability, security and, obviously, happiness because if you have a lot of goods but you aren't happy it's like you haven't got nothing.

    Because for a lot of people the meaning of happiness is to have a lot oh things, but they don't value a life without those unecessary things.

    Yes because it was so beautiful and emotive and we like Will Smith.

    He thinks that happines for his son is having a home, money, and being with his family.
    He makes some good decisions(working hard and studing) and some bad(leaving the Captain 'Merica in the street)

    Yes but its not available to everyone.

    Working hard helps but some things are unreachable.

    He sees as happiness for his son to live and do never allow nobody to tell you what do you have to do or if you cannot do something. Yes, because anybody in his position would't have made the same effort as he has done.

    He sees a economical and mental estability. Yes because he does as much as he can.

    Yes because is very emotional, some times funny because of the jokes and love between a father and his son.

    A house, a normal life and friends. Yes because he works hard to do it.

    No, because bad people can destroy your happiness, but you can be depressed or fight and work hard to obtain the happiness again.

    Yes. We think ir was a very beautiful film. It taught us a lot. We saw that in life, the most important things are not material: love, happiness, and those things are which really matter in life.

    It's obvious that kids don't really know what happiness is. If they have their favourite toy, or something that they want, they'll be happy.
    We can see it when Chris make Christopher believe that they're living with dinosaurs, in an exotic jungle. For being safe, they sleep in a “cave”, which in fact is the train station's bathrooms. This way, Christopher
    doesn't know the reality they are living.

    To a certain extent we agree because you are happy both earning 1000 euros a month or beint millionare. If you have stability, you'll be happy.

    Yes. We think that everybody, every people, no matter his/her race, no matter his/her gender, deserves being happy. We think that the Government should do something for solving people's problems, because the world would be a better place if everybody was happy.
    There were not wars, etc.

    No. Sometimes, what you want depends of money, and other factors that you can't take control of.
    For example, if you want a Ferrari and you don't have money enough for even having a house, you won't get the Ferrari. Luck is a very important factor, too.

    Of course happiness is our priority in life doing what we want. Some people work in what they like and they are happy, ando some others do something else and they are still happy. In order to that, in my opinion what we should pursue in life is what make us happy in order to have a good life.

    Because of the culture. Pieople in africa are happy surviving, and we are happy with material things because when we were child we were acostumbrated to play and use material things.

    We liked it because it´s about a real story, it´s really moving and well done. It teaches you that anyone can´t tell you that you can´t do something, if you want it and work for it you´ll suceed and finally obtain it.
    2. Chris wants a better life for him and his son. What do you think he sees as happiness for his son? Do you think he makes the right decisions to achieve this?
    The happiness for his son is that he has to fight is dreams in life and achieve his goals in life. We think he has made the right decisions in the way that he couldn´t prevent that the buisnees of the bone´s machine would be a complete failure so he did his best, always trying to have his son with a smile and take care of him the best way he knew to.

We don´t really think that happiness is equal to safety and security because although you have those you could not be happy in life because you don´t have family or you haven´t achieve the goals you wanted as job or house.

    He sees as happiness the fact other people to fight for their dreams and while they are fighting for them the satisfaction and experiences they live.

    The unalienable right that everyone should have is equality to everyone else,being accepted from anyone despite the facts you could have differente religion, traditions, languege or skin colour. That´s something that satifies widely everyone and although we think is something normal and a right that doesn´t affect people, it actually does and others will thank equality.

    Being absolutely realistic we think that not everything could be reached with hard work, sometimes luck, reality or even money can make you not reach your dream. But we admit that lots of things could be done if you want them and put great effort on them.

    Happiness is the most important thing everyone must pursue on life, because each of us could have a differente perception of happiness but it ends in a happy person who lives in peace with himself and apports positive things to society. But your ideal job, your ideal family also should be pursued for you but are not as important as happines for life.

    Because for lots of them money is all and only material things can satisfy you and not the emotional things that really are the ones that matter in life.

    1- We didn't enjoy too much this film because is very repetitive and his son does it well, is a good performance.

    2- He sees as happiness not to tell his son that everything is going wrong and he avoids his anger with his son and all his problems.

    3- We're totally agree with United States Declaration of Independece because they say the truth, but we think that Chris Gardner is not agree with that because he respect everything but he doesn't get what he wants.

    4- Yes, everybody should have and unalienable right of happiness because he have rights and this is one of them.

    5- We can get everything we want but only with hard work but in exceptional moment it couldn't be possible.

    6- We should pursue love, work, family, health...Yes, happiness is one thing that help us to get something else like the examples.

    7- They see happiness in purely material terms because if someone has expensive things people see him like a rich person but in the opposite side the see him like poor people, so in this society we have a lot of stereotype and this one of them, you should have a lot of material things to be happy.

    1. Yes I like this film although I have watched ir several times
    2. For Chris, the hapiness for his son is a better life, in better conditions he wanted that his son knew who is his father. Yes, he worked hard and he achieve his objetive.
    3. I think hapinness is more than that, is also freedom, love... Yes, because he needs money to be happy and give a better life for his son.
    4. Yes, because every human have the right to be happy, it's basic.
    5. No: there are objetifs you can't achieve because there are inpediments.
    6. We should pursue freedom because it is the base of all of the other objetifs. Of course hapinness is one of those thins but I think that being free you can get close to happiness
    7. Because in this society we are like that unfortunetly and everone thinks what the rest of the people things because we have fear to be extrange.

    1.Yes because it teaches you many things about real life and shows probes you shloud never stop fighting to get your dreams.

    4.Of course, everyone should be happy in ther lifes because if you are not happy your life will be a hell.

    1. Did you like this film? Why/why not?

    Karen :No, because the film bases happinness of a how much money you have an I don´t agree with that. In my opinion you can be happy without money, because even though you may not live in a palace and have everything you want, you can be happy with your family and not base your happiness off the amount of money you have.
    Katie: No, I agree with Karen and do not like the film for the same reasons.

    2. Chris wants a better life for him and his son. What do you think he sees as happiness for his son? Do you think he makes the right decisions to achieve this?
    3. Both: What he sees as hapinness for his son is a place to live, a good education, and a caring family. Yes, he does make the correct desicions.

    This declaration seems to equate happiness with safety and security. To what extent do you agree with that? We agree.
    Do you think this is what Chris Gardner sees as happiness? Yes but to a certain extent because he bases a lot of his happiness on the amount of money that he has.
    4. Do you think that people have an unalienable right (i.e. a right that should not be taken away from them) to happiness? Why/why not? Yes , because all people have right to be happy.

    7. Why do you think so many people in our society see happiness in purely material terms? Because people with money appear to have everything and everyone is always wanting something more, and to get that they need money.
